The Highlight Colour pop-up menu displays a number of different colours you can choose from. Just select the one you want, and the example below will display it. Accent Colour, simply introduces some partial colour in MacOS 8's overall appearance, eg. buttons, progress bars, and highlighted windows. There are approximately 10-12 colours to choose from. While, Highlight Colour, is the colour you wish to use when highlighting text in filenames, or while editing any type of document, even if it is in another program.
